This B.C. super ferry, 167.5 metres in length and able to hold 470 cars and 2100 passengers and crew, is shown beginning to negotiate the tricky currents of Active Pass. Behind it is Galiano Island and in the foreground a pod of orcas, a common sight on this voyage, with their black fins flashing in the summer sun.
