Just 19 kilometres from the mainland, Rottnest Island is the city of Perth's playground. With cars banned in its eleven kilometers long and five wide space, bicycle paths lead everywhere to fabulous white beaches, peaceful bays and spectacular jagged rocky points such as Henrietta Rocks; the site of more than a few shipwrecks.
